Media Practitioner And Bende South House of Assembly Candidate Escapes Death Along Uzuakoli Akara Road

The YPP candidate for Bende South State Constituency In the 2023 General Elections, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo has escaped what looks like an assassination attempt while returning with his wife from his village.

This is coming few days after he declared his intentions to contest for the Assembly seat again in the 2027 General election.

Narrating the sad development to Newsmen in Umuahia, the fearless activist and youth leader dismissed the attempt as a feeble attempt to intimidate him and make him chicken out of the race.

“I have always maintained that the Biafra Agitation is good, but until we get there we have to continue participating in the larger Nigerian politics”.

“No one has any right whatsoever to ask people not to participate in Elections, because we are fighting for Biafra, that we are yet to actualize and therefore anyone who doesn’t heed the instruction is killed”.

“How do you take up arms against your own brothers, the same people you are fighting for their freedom?”
