{Opinion} Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency 2027: Chinedum Orji And His Family Owes Ndi Abia and Ikwuano Umuahia An Apology, That is why his Campaign Continues To Hit Brick Walls – Obi Aguocha Frontliners

As we gear up towards the 2027 general elections, the campaigns and consultations of the son of the estwhile Governor of Abia State, Chinedum Orji, continue to hit brick walls, rejections and humiliation across Ikwuano – Umuahia.

According to sources, the people are totally surprised and also put off by his arrogance and audacity to present himself for election after he and his family supervised the underdevelopment of the state and allegedly enriched themselves with the resources meant for the development of the state, for which they are currently facing criminal charges and dragged about by EFCC.

One would have thought that having been clothed in shame, Daddy’s boy, Chinedum Orji will be remorseful and look for a way to apologize to Ndi Ibeku, Ikwuano Umuahia and the whole Abia State, for under developing the state. Rather, he chose to add salt to injury by attempting to resurrect a dynasty Ndi Abia had rejected due to their greed.

One source that craved anonymity stated, “they think that the money the EFCC mentioned they stole will not finish. The money has gone down, and he wants to get back into power by all means to continue pilferring, where they stopped in Abia State.”

“They are surprised the way people have deserted them, even in his own homestead, his kinsmen have all deserted him because they have fallen back into poverty because they did not genuinely empower or train anybody to life after close to 30 unbroken years in public service.”

“Go to Amaokwe Ugba, even among the people answering Orji with him, they all have returned back to square one because their selfishness and greed did not allow them to honestly empower their brothers.”

“Today, he is going cap in hand back to those people they impoverished and lives destroyed asking for their support, and he knows the answer he continues to get.”

One now wonders what can embolden the EFCC candidate to continue to malign, blackmail and insult our impeccable and untainted principal, whose integrity is his highest asset, and we realize it is only envy that can fuel such Desperation.

While Chinedu Orji continues to grope in the dark, clutch at straws, Hon Obi Aguocha continues to garner mileages, commendations, and endorsements.

That is the difference between light and darkness.
