Abia Assembly Chief Whip and Member Representing Umuahia South State Constituency Hon Emeka Obioma Launches 3 Significant Projects Among Others

The member Representing Umuahia South State Constituency and Chief Whip of Abia State House of Assembly Hon Emeka Obioma has launched 3 Significant Projects in his Constituency.

A correspondence signed by the lawmaker and sighted by Abia Pulse Newsonline Reads:

“I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your unwavering support. I’m excited to share that we’ve launched three significant projects in three Clans of Umuahia South:

1. Reconstruction of a primary school block at Okwu Community Primary School, Okwu Olokoro.
2. Drilling a borehole and construction of a tank stand and 2 nos 1000 Gallons Tank at Amibo Ubakala.
3. Drilling a borehole and construction of a tank stand and 2 nos 1000 Gallons Tank at Ohiya Community.

I’m committed to seeing them through to completion by the first week of June this year. Rest assured, I’m fully dedicated to fulfilling every promise made to you.

Furthermore, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ll soon embark on projects in the remaining seven wards, and all projects will be completed before my tenure expires.

In addition to these projects, we have provided employment opportunities to members of our community. Two individuals have been hired at the Abia Orientation agency as the local government coordinator and the local government officer.
Additionally, one person from each ward will serve as ward coordinators, totaling ten individuals.

Furthermore, we’ve also offered employment to five (5) individuals as nurses with the Health Management Board and another seven (7) with the Abia State Road Traffic Agency, making a total of twelve (14)persons employed and another Ten (10) persons to resume very soon

We will continue to do this; we will continue to do as much as we can

In addition to these projects and employment opportunities, during the Jamb registration period, we registered members of our constituency for Jamb and also for Waec. Additionally, by December, we’ll be giving Bursary awards to members of our constituency in Tertiary institutions.
