Abia Xmas Village, a private sector driven project and a vision of U-Town Entertainment has promised to create an indelible and memorable fun for Abians through the 2023 Christmas period.

The project will encompass from children playground, to native cuisine, music, drinks and other programs from the 25th of Dec through the 31st of December 2023.

The program is billed to solve the problem of lack of activities usually witnessed during Christmas festivities in Abia state.

The U-Town Entertainment and partners therefore calls for partners, and brands that want to be part of the project.

Speaking to newsmen during a media briefing, the project manager Mr. Emenike Iroegbu said it will be the first of it’s kind in the city of Umuahia.

Also speaking, the Project operations manager Mr. Peterson Agu said that the event will commence with an opening ceremony on the 25th expected to be flagged off by the Governor of the state Dr. Alex Otti OFR.

According Mr Agu, the 26th will be a special day for children while the other days will showcase, cultural festival, creative industry day, made in Abia trade fair, Food festival, fashion festival, movie night, the Ada Abia Beauty contest/MERIT Award and other activities that will be showcasing ingenuity and creativity by Abians and an opportunity for other creatives from Abia to showcase their talents.

The event which is the first of it’s kind is billed to hold at Trademoore events center, the event center popularly known as Isigate.

The head marketing Mr. Onyebuchi Ogbonna stated that there are 150 spaces up for grabs in the arena, selling for N60,000 (sixty thousand naira) per space and the spaces is currently on sale.
