Former Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu Celebrates Ex-Governor T.A. Orji On His Birthday

Former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, has joined political leaders, associates, and well-wishers across Nigeria to celebrate former Governor and Senator representing Abia Central, Chief Theodore Ahamefule Orji (Ochendo Global), on the occasion of his birthday.

In a goodwill message personally signed by Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, he described the former Governor as a father figure, a bridge builder, and an outstanding statesman whose life has been defined by an uncommon commitment to public service, leadership excellence, and the development of Abia State.

Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, who served as Deputy Governor from 2015 to 2023, commended Senator Orji for his contributions in the development of Abia State.He noted that Ochendo’s era as Governor introduced youth empowerment, and human capital development, which transformed the socio-economic landscape of the state.

According to him, “Chief T.A. Orji remains one of the most impactful leaders Abia State has produced. His leadership style, humility, and wisdom continue to inspire a generation of leaders who believe in service above self.”

While celebrating the former Governor’s enduring contributions to Abia’s growth, the former Deputy Governor prayed for long life, good health, and greater strength for him to continue offering his wealth of experience to both the state and Nigeria at large.

He added, “On behalf of my family and political associates, I wish our father, mentor, and leader, Senator T.A. Orji, a glorious birthday celebration. May the Almighty God continue to preserve his life and grant him more years of wisdom, peace, and fulfillment.”
