LG Elections: Abia North PDP Stakeholders Close Ranks

Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP met Friday in Umuahia with a resolve to continue upholding the ideals that made the party thick in recent times.

In their separate speeches during the meeting held at Mater Dei Cathedral Hall Umuahia, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu and the former senator representing Abia North Senator Mao Ohuabunwa appreciated the Stakeholders for standing firm in the party after the party lost some vital positions in the last general election.

They stated that though many have left the party, that the party remains the most formidable and organized party in the country and urged members to ignore those who have exhibited the highest level of betrayal and impatience with a platform that gave them everything and remain steadfast.

They encouraged the Stakeholders to stand their ground especially towards the forth co ing LGA Election and prove their mettle that the party is still strong, viable and the most credible alternative for Abians.
