Release Nnamdi Kanu, It Will Restore Peace To S’East and Boost Your Support Base In The Region – Hon Ikwechegh Begs President Tinubu

The member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers Hon. Alex Ikwechegh has again called for the release of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Speaking to newsmen over the weekend the vocal and fearless lawmaker stated that the release of Kanu will restore peace to the entire peace because most of the agitations are hinged on his lingering incarceration which has continued to throb the pulses of the youths of the region.

In his words “Nnamdi Kanu is not a criminal, he is merely speaking the mind of his people who feel marginalized in the country.”

He reminded the President that he is not the one who arrested and incarcerated the IPOB and that Kanu is not his enemy, the reason why he should do the honourable thing by releasing him.

He also stated that if Kanu is released, the entire S’East who hold the IPOB leader in high esteem will reciprocate the gesture by massively voting for President Tinubu in 2027.

He called on the entire leaders of S’East to join forces, close ranks and speak with one voice towards the freedom of Kanu, as his continued incarceration has become an albatross to the region.
