Abia North Senate Seat 2027: Bourdex Gets Royal Blessings

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the flag bearer of the Labour Party for Abia North Senatorial District Chief David Ogba Onuoha has paid homage to the Enachioken-in-Council, together with the revered Traditional Rulers of the 17 Villages of Abiriba.

Thereafter he repeated same visit to the Udumeze of Ohafia and the distinguished 26 Eziogos of Ohafia.

According to the serial entrepreneur and foremost industrialist, though the campaigns are yet to kick off, the visit is, “in keeping with our tradition that elders must be honoured and blessings sought before embarking on any important undertaking”.

Chief Onuoha stated that he did not go before these highly respected royal fathers merely as the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Abia North, rather first as their son—seeking their prayers, fatherly counsel and blessings before formally commencing the journey towards the 2027 General Elections.

He further expressed his gratitude not only for warm reception accorded him by the revered Royal Fathers but also their pledge to support the Labour Party and the Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.

He assured the monarchs that he will remain humble betray the confidence reposed on him by the people, pledging to remain accountable and committed to delivering quality representation, purposeful legislation and sustainable development for every community in Abia North.
