Watch Video: Gov Otti Will Construct Ofeke/Okporoenyi Road – Abia Assembly Deputy Speaker Assures

The Deputy speaker Abia state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Augustine Okezie has assured Ofeke people that the road that leads from Ofeke to Okporoenyi will be constructed by the Dr. Alex Otti led administration.

Speaking to a delegation of Ofeke indigenes who paid him an official visit to complain on the deplorable state of the road, the hardworking and vocal legislator assured them that the road is on the priority list of the Governor given the important nature of the road.

According to him, the Governor is giving attention to the myriad of ongoing projects to see they are pushed to finishing line and will commence another round of flag offs and certainly the Ofeke road will not be left behind.

The road which has never been constructed since human history has been a source of concern to not just Ofeke Ibeku people but also the people of Okporoenyi as that is their shortest route to Umuahia.

It is on record that internal roads within Umuahia East state Constituency has been receiving attention in the current administration, a feat made possible by the robust relationship between the Deputy speaker and the Governor of the state.
